Karst Topography in Satun Geopark

         Satun Karst Zone is in the north of the Satun Geopark covering an area of Thungwa and Manang districts. The area is mostly composed of limestone characterizing as rugged limestone mountainous terrain, isolated hills and cliff canyons with diversified features of caves. A cave has been affected by seawater inside the cave for some distances like Stegodon Sea Cave whereas some caves are stream cross caves like the Chet Khot cave. Phu Pha Phet cave is the largest cave of Thailand with diversified spectacular speleothems. Furthermore, there are also lapies, waterfalls, and streams for kayaking
