The Thungwa Ancient Elephant Museum is in the Thungwa Sub-district Administration Organization. It is a one-storey building opened to public on working days from Monday to Friday without admission fee and closed on the weekends and official holidays. It is about 100,000 visitors a year. The exhibition hall is comprised of presentations on Thai elephants, history, lifestyles and Satun local traditions and cultures. Fossil elephants and other fossils are also displayed in the museum.
